The scenario evolves from initial network degradation and reconnaissance to sophisticated attacks involving social engineering, AI poisoning, ransomware, and even physical disruption like hospital fires and simulated ‘dirty bombs.’ The blue team practices defensive strategies including forensics, identity protection, immutable backups, and crisis communications, while the red team explores various extortion and disruption tactics. The exercise concludes with a discussion on ransom negotiation, reputational damage, and post-incident after-action reports.
