Tim Brown

Tim Brown is the Chief Information Security Officer at SolarWinds, where he oversees internal IT security, product security, and company-wide security strategy. He joined SolarWinds in 2017 and played a leading role in the response to the 2020 SUNBURST cyberattack, shaping the company’s long‑term “Secure by Design” approach. With 25+ years of cybersecurity experience, Brown previously served as a Dell Fellow and CTO, and he holds 18 patents in security technologies.
