Neil Ashworth is a Senior Solutions Architect at Cohesity and a cybersecurity leader with more than two decades of experience spanning military intelligence, cyber defense, cloud security, and ransomware resilience. Prior to joining Cohesity, he held senior security architecture and advisory roles at organizations including Druva and Nutanix, helping enterprises strengthen their security posture across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Originally from Manchester, England, Ashworth began his career as a Royal Navy intelligence SIGINT operator, supporting cyber and intelligence operations alongside organizations such as GCHQ and the NSA. Drawing on over 20 years of frontline experience, he is a recognized voice on ransomware defense, Zero Trust architecture, data protection, AI security, and operational cyber resilience.
Today, Ashworth works with organizations around the world to help them prepare for and respond to emerging cyber threats, translating complex security challenges into practical strategies for business and technology leaders alike.
