Eli Tarlow serves as a healthcare Strategist as part of the CDW Healthcare team. He is a senior technology leader with over two decades of experience focused on healthcare technology strategy and leadership. He is passionate about the effective use of technology in order to improve patient care & experience as well as to improve healthcare institutions’ business and operational unique goals and challenges.
Prior to joining CDW, Eli spent many years as a Vice President and Chief Information Officer at various healthcare organizations such as Bellevue Hospital, Brookdale Hospital, and Metropolitan Hospital as well as other Long Term Care Facilities and Diagnostic & Treat-ment Centers. He also held senior IT Leadership roles at Beth Israel, Roosevelt, St. Luke’s and Long Island College Hospitals in New York City. Eli has led his teams to earn the acknowledgement of CHIME’s “Most Wired”, has been named among the “100 Health System CIOs to Know” by Becker’s Hospital Review, is CHIME “CHCIO” and “CDH-E” as well as HIMSS “CPHIMS” certified. He ensures he always remains current as an industry leader as an active Fellow member of HIMSS, an International Ambassador for CHIME, and a Board member for Iona College’s Technology Master’s program.
Before committing to a career focused specifically on Healthcare Technology, Eli held IT Leadership roles in other industries such as Pharmaceutical, Government and Telecommunications. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Touro College in New York City.
