Denis Ontiveros

Denis has been working in the security arena for 22 years. He started his career in IT audit, setting up the KPMG Barcelona Information Risk management practice, where he managed inter alia the Pentest team.

His career continued as a CISO for Sara Lee Douwe Egberts, where is spent 8 years building a team and setting up operational processes across a broad set of business functions with a true constraint engineering paradigm.

Since 2013, Denis has fulfilled a CITSO role at BP. His last sprint as Director for Security Engineering, creating hybrid agile security delivery teams, embedded in the feature and product teams to create a true collaborative security culture. This included enabling the first CIAM platform and cloud based Enterprise Identity as a service for bp.

Currently VP for Developer and Identity platforms for bp, he continues to drive the security & Identity agenda, enabling the developer community, providing a curated golden path to secure frictionless access to their digital products.
