Alex drives Semperis’ overall product vision and innovation, driving product strategy and execution to meet customer needs. Prior to Semperis, Alex was Vice President of Identity Security at Microsoft, leading its team of identity security experts, responsible for protecting billions of users signing into millions of apps almost 45 billion times a day on Microsoft’s identity platform. He collaborated closely with Semperis to advance identity security and was a keynote speaker at the 2023 and 2024 Hybrid Identity Protection (HIP) Conferences.
Alex has been involved in a variety of charitable endeavors over the past 20 years. He founded the Seattle Pediatric cancer charity “Crush Kids’ Cancer” which raised over $1M for adaptive T-Cell immunotherapy treatments for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and other ground-breaking treatments. He is also a board member for Sound Experience, which operates the historic schooner “Adventuress” as a platform for experiential, science-based environmental education.
